How Goalies Can Stop Penalty Kicks

This article is about strategies used in penalty kicks that make it easier for the goalie to stop the ball. Since most of the pressure is on the kicker to make the goal, the goalie usually feels less pressure. However, goalies can still be the difference between winning and losing the game in penalty kicks. The two strategies are goalie-dependent and goalie-independent.

I think this article is important for soccer players to read, goalies or field players. I liked it because I have had to take a penalty kick before and it would have been helpful to know this. Also, I was a goalie when I was younger, so I still like to know what I could have done better.
