Planet Forming Around Star About 335 Light Years From Earth

The Naval Research Laboratory has conducted a study on what seems to be a planet forming 335 light years away from Earth. This planet started to form after orbiting a newly formed star.  This planet is assumed to end up being a gas planet due to the fact it was formed in a big gas cloud.  This gas planet is predicted to be three times the mass of Jupiter.  If this planet continues to grow, there is a chance that it will create a planetary system.  The Naval Research Laboratory is writing this article about the astrophysicist, Dr. Sean Brittian from Clemson University in South Carolina who discovered this growing planet.
I feel like finding a new planet is extremely eye opening.  What else could be out there in the depths of space?  It makes me wonder how much we don't know.  We find a growing planet 355 light years away... How do we know there isn't a growing solar system 1,000 light years away?!  I wish all of every society would be able to learn about this amazing wonder that is space, in their lives every single day.
