Summary of "Dreadnoughtus: Gigantic, exceptionally complete sauropod dinosaur" by Drexel University
According to Drexel University, they have found the world's largest animal that walked on land. The Dreadnoughtus was 85 feet long and weighed about 65 tons. It is believed that the tail was 30 feet long and the neck was 37 feet long. Scientists believe that all of the fossils they have unearthed for one Dreadnoughtus were not even fully grown. To give even more perspective to this massive animal, the chest of it was the size of a large house and the femur bone alone was 6 feet tall. Another smaller animal was found underneath but it's skeleton was not as whole as the Dreadnoughtus. This find is giving scientist more information and insight on prehistoric animals. This animal would spend most of its days in place eating due to it having to ingest enough calories to support its massive body size.

This article interested me because it made me think about what may have existed before us that we don't even know about yet. Now a days, humans are on top of the dominant beings due to our ability to communicate and ability to think. But who was the ruler before our time? The answer is below our feet. When dinosaurs roamed the earth, it was survival of the fittest. Who was able to get more food? Who was faster and stronger? Dreadnoughtest had the ability to simply not care about anything other than eating. They had no need to worry about predators or being eaten alive, very much like humans, they didn't care about other living beings.
